I’m proud and humbled to announce that the wonderful Reads & Company Bookshop in Phoenixville has asked me to do a signing event for The Electric Football Wishbook.

So I’ll be in the store this coming Saturday (December 7) between 11am and 1 pm signing copies of the Wishbook!

For those of you not familiar with The Electric Football Wishbook, it’s an all-color collection of Sears, Ward, and JC Penney sports game Christmas catalog pages. So not only does it include Electric Football games – hence the name – The Wishbook also includes table hockey games, baseball games, basketball games, and more.

It’s a detailed tour through those by-gone magical Christmas mornings of the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. A perfect Christmas present for males of a certain age.

And for those of you not familiar with Reads & Company, it’s an independently owned and operated bookstore in downtown Phoenixville, PA. A true local business, with a passion for great books. There is an incredible selection of titles stuffed onto their carefully-curated shelves. Truly the kind of place you want to support with your Christmas shopping!

Even though I’d sworn off book signings a number of years ago, this was an offer I couldn’t refuse. I promise to practice up on my signature and bring along some fresh Sharpies.
